Over the next couple of days, we visited the arcades, the car museum (these employees were really nice!), the movie theater & the bowling alley (Howard was very accommodating!). Didn't stay long & decided to find other entertainment. The water was chilly & it was very windy. After check-in with Curtis, we dropped our luggage in our room & took the kids to the pool on the 3rd floor. Explained we have 2 young grandchildren staying also & was told we would be in the North Tower with Mountain Views & the children's pool. Reservations were easy & the gentleman on the phone was friendly.

Thank you! And again big thanks to Kelly & Sergio on night reception for going that extra mile. Wouldn't have made our wonderful friends & felt like Laughlin is our second home. Don Laughlin we thank you for building Laughlin, without you we wouldn't have first visited from the UK in 2002. Oh & the pool area is spotless & very inviting. Honestly, this hotel/casino makes you feel right at home. That's his favourite! The café staff are all lovely too. It's very convenient & my husband adores the potato salad with a sandwich. Great cafe we've always popped in to use the sidewalk café. We were very sad to leave & would definitely use Riverside again. If we needed anything we just asked the lovely housekeeping staff that were always around. The topper was brought & fitted & we slept like babies the whole 2 weeks! We didn't need or ask for housekeeping every day probably 4 or 5 times in two weeks as we are tidy & eco friendly. Lovely, helpful, happy & interested in our needs. Happy staff=happy business! These two members of staff were exceptional. She told us how wonderful it was to work there. The Hotel/Casino oozes this thru the happy helpful staff. We were told that Mr Laughlin was the BEST. We chatted to them & said how friendly the hotel feels. Kelly immediately said NO NO your comfort is our priority! She suggested we had a mattress topper which she would organise for us. I apologised for complaining as everything else was fabulous. We went down to reception early morning & were greeted by Kelly & Sergio. But the mattress, though new, proved too firm. The bed sadly was too hard for us, we both have neck & back problems so we brought our own pillows. Our room was on 23rd floor with a mountain/desert view, what a view!! The room was clean though a little dark with dark wood furniture. We love Laughlin & have friends that live nearby in Oatman so we base ourselves here.

First time at the Riverside but 9th time in Laughlin.
